Dr. Hillary Smith Shares Breast Health Tips and Resources

About Dr. Hillary Smith

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am Dr. Hillary Smith.

I’ve always had a interest in natural medicine and the healing arts. When I was in my early 20’s I was helped with chiropractic manipulation and vitamins. Things were different then. Health food stores were few and far between, even in Los Angeles where I was born and raised. Chiropractors were the only healthcare professionals around who were talking about diet, exercise and pure foods and water. I decided that it was the profession for me, where I could learn about what interested me and help others with that knowledge. I had never been exposed to the sciences so I had to return to college to take pre-requisite classes for Chiropractic Medical School.

To my surprise - I loved science and got straight A’s. I was accepted in 1981 to the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, one of the premier Chiropractic Colleges in the world. I earned my Doctorate there in December of 1984 (ten year round trimesters) and pursued my career.

In addition to the hands on work, I delved into nutrition and biochemistry. In 1990 I had the good fortune to study Homeopathy and after several years earned a Doctorate of Homeopathy degree.

Combining nutrition, homeopathy, chiropractic and hands on healing techniques I was able to practice with a very holistic approach. Working with other practitioners in my clinic, I was also able to provide acupuncture, massage therapy, cranial sacral therapy and physiotherapy to my patients.

I continued to study and expand all the wonderful new discoveries in my field. I have now been certified as a Therapeutic Lifestyle Center of Excellence and have received advanced training in the Biomerdian-a bio-electric meridian stress assessment device.

In 2006, while researching options for my own preventative health desires, I discovered Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging or Thermography. The more I learned the more I knew this was something I wanted to offer to the public. All the education and experience I have had over the more than two decades has given me a unique perspective to do Thermography and add preventative breast and whole body health to the package .

My blog is dedicated to my Mother-Dorothy Smith- who was diagnosed with breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease in the same year. I hope to help other women from going through the painful experience she had with non-toxic and preventative medicine.
